High-speed sync

High-speed sync (HSS) is a flash mode that allows you to use flash at shutter speeds faster than the camera's maximum flash sync speed. This is achieved by pulsing the flash at a high frequency, which creates multiple bursts of light during the exposure. HSS is particularly useful when shooting in bright daylight, as it allows you to balance the ambient light with the flash.
